About the IUGA/EUGA Joint Meeting
  • What is the IUGA/EUGA Joint Meeting?
    The IUGA/EUGA Joint Meeting is a joint meeting between the International Urogynecological Association (IUGA) and the European Urogynaecological Association (EUGA) which promise to offer a diverse and international program highlighting advancements in the field of Urogyencology.
  • When and where will the IUGA/EUGA Joint Meeting take place?
    The meeting will be held in Barcelona, Spain from June 18-21, 2025.
  • Will the meeting offer Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits?
    Yes! The IUGA/EUGA Joint Meeting will be accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®). Additional information pertaining to CME credits will be provided early next year.

  • When will registration open?
    The IUGA/EUGA Joint Meeting registration will open in January 2025.

  • What is the dress code for the meeting?
    Business casual.

Visas, Travel, and Accommodation
  • Do I need a visa to travel to Barcelona, Spain?
    In most cases, a valid passport is all that is required to visit Spain, however, attendees of certain nationalities may need to apply for a visa. For more information please click here.
  • Are there any recommended accommodations near the meeting venue, and do you offer any discounted rates?
    There is an official meeting hotel contracted with a room block. Further details will follow in the coming weeks.
  • What airport should I fly into?
    The Barcelona – El Prat Airport is located 12 kilometres from the city.

About Abstract Submissions
  • What is the deadline for abstract submissions?
    The deadline for abstract submissions is February 1, 2025.
  • How can I submit my abstract for consideration?
    You can find all details related to abstract submission here. To submit, please click here.
  • When will I find out if my abstract has been accepted?
    Abstract decisions will be emailed to all authors in end of March 2025.

  • How can I become a sponsor of the IUGA/EUGA Joint Meeting?

    Yes! There will be both exhibition booths and industry sponsors at the meeting. More details will be available in the near future.
